1. Strengthen your relationship with God. Mission trips give you a chance to connect with God in a way you normally can't at home.
2. New friendships. Going on a mission trip you meet a lot of new people. It may be with people in your group that you didn't know before or people of the place you are visiting. It allows you to branch out of you're normal friend group.
3. Memories. The memories I made on my mission trip will last me a life time!
4. Kids. I love kids and mission trips give you the opportunity to spend time with kids. On my mission trip more than half of my time was spent with kids.
5. Travel. These trips give you a chance to travel the world and help people.
6. Reflection. Mission trips give you time to reflect on your life back home. You have time to really just pause and think about what is important in life.
7. Medical. Depending on the mission trip you could be given a chance to do medical work. On my trip I helped out in a medical clinic. It was really interesting and I learned a lot.
8. Try new food. Who doesn't love food? You have the chance to try new food that may be different than what you are used to.
9. Cultural experience. There trips show you the way people around the world live. It's an awesome experience.

When I first got home from my mission trip I didn't think my life had been changed, but as time went on I realized the way I viewed to world was different. My life was changed from going on my mission trip and I hope that everyone who wants to has the opportunity to go on one of they can.
